Bremen – National player Dennis Schroeder is not at all worried about his still uncertain future in the NBA.
“We will see where the road will go. Everything will be fine,” the 28-year-old said after Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Poland in Bremen (93-83) at MagentaSport.
Like last year, Schroeder is looking for a club, and his contract with the Houston Rockets has expired.
Despite struggling in the first half, Braunschweig’s point guard paced himself against the Poles with a personal best for the national team (38 points) after a strong final.
“Advisor gives me daily updates”
“My adviser is doing his work. He gives me updates every day,” said Schroeder, now out for several weeks.
The next internationals are at the Hamburg Supercup (August 19/20), followed by two more World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Slovenia, before the home European Championship begins (September 1-18).
At best, the future is settled before the tournament in Hamburg.
