Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Despite his strong performances at Eintracht Frankfurt, Randall Kolo Muani is forced to watch the World Cup in Qatar on TV. The striker put up with not being nominated for the French national team and gave the right answer in the last match of the Bundesliga against Hoffenheim in 1899. “It won’t blow my mind and it doesn’t affect me that much. I knew it before the game. It didn’t bother me,” said the 23-year-old Frenchman on the club’s own TV channel.

He also holds his teammates responsible for his development since arriving in Germany in the summer. He knows he’s in a good mood. “The group helps me a lot and makes it easier for me. We get along well, there are no small groups. This strong bond is also felt on the field. So we are riding a small wave,” Kolo Muani said.

On Sunday (15.30 / DAZN) Eintracht will compete in the derby at FSV Mainz 05. Kolo Muani will be looking to continue to cause a sensation there and win their fifth successive away competitive game with the Hessians.
