Munich – Bankruptcy for the Golden State Warriors.
Head coach Steve Carey’s team suffered their first defeat in the young NBA season. The score was 123:128 against “Denver Nuggets” at Chase Center.
The Dubs, meanwhile, fell behind by 20 points but managed to get back on track thanks to a run. Above all, superstar Steph Curry once again supported the Warriors. In the last three and a half minutes, he scored three three-pointers and kept his team in the game.
Stephen Curry and Nikola Jokic are strong
NBA MVP Nikola Jokic always found the right answer for the Nuggets. He recorded his first triple-double this season: 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Meanwhile, Curry even got 34 points, but it was not enough for the Warriors’ victory.
Aside from Jokic and an otherwise solid starting five, the Nuggets bench has also been convincing. Especially Bones Hyland contributed to the success of his team with 14 points.
Both teams are tied 1-1 after two games.
