After a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus, Wendlinger’s outdoor pool was once again a 24-hour swimming scene. Summer weather and interesting competitions created a good atmosphere.
WENDLINGEN. Swimming with Paralympic champion and five-time medalist Lynn Kazmaier. More than 700 participants took on the 24-hour swim challenge at the Wendlinger outdoor pool over the weekend. In the past two years, the race had to be canceled due to the coronavirus. Longtime organizer Tessie Kiesler and her husband Bernd, chairman of the DLRG local group in Wendlingen, were most delighted.

On Sunday morning, Wendlinger and Kögener firefighters installed so-called hoses on the Römerbrücke. It is part of the floodplain concept, designed to hold back a 100-year flood or even an extreme flood. Florian’s 30 disciples were there.
